Why MAN College
‘MAN’ Samiti is a non-governmental organization established in October 2009 and registered under Firms and Society (2009), P.W.D ACG (51), Niti Ayog, Departmental Permission by M.P. Govt., and National Trust. Since its inception, it has been running a special school providing interventions for children with intellectual disabilities. In 2018, it expanded its services to include a De-addiction Center and MAN Psychiatrist Hospital for individuals with drug/alcohol addiction and mental health issues. In 2021-22, it initiated a Diploma in Special Education (D.Ed.-IDD) course to train professionals dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities. Subsequently, in 2023, it introduced two professional courses, Bachelor’s in Special Education (B.Ed.-IDD) and M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology, aiming to provide intensive training to serve the needs of the community better.

Dr Rajendra Singh Bhati, DPM-NIMHANS (Psychiatrist)
MAN Society, founded in 2001, aims to destigmatize mental illness and provide support for mental health in India. Starting with a Special School and Day Care Centre, it expanded into drug rehabilitation and psychological disorder treatments. Through seminars, awareness camps, and specialized courses like Diploma and Bachelor’s in Special Education
and MPhil in Clinical Psychology, MAN Society promotes evidence-based treatment and education. With a focus on generating empathetic professionals, MAN Society strives to bring psychological wellness and facilitate groundbreaking research for improved patient care, believing in the power of education to create a healthy society.
