DPM-NIMHANS (Psychiatrist)

MAN Society, founded in 2001, aims to break the stigma surrounding mental illness through Mental Health Awareness and Networking. Started during post-graduation at NIMHANS, Bangalore, it began with a Special School and Day Care Centre, expanding into drug Rehabilitation for psychological disorders. Offering evidence-based treatment and awareness programs, MAN Society now provides specialized courses like Diploma in Special Education, Bachelor’s in Special Education, and MPhil in Clinical Psychology to generate empathetic professionals. The vision is to create a team dedicated to rehabilitation, psychological wellness, and groundbreaking research, believing in education as a catalyst for societal change.

Dr. Bhavna Mukund

HOD of Clinical Psychology

Dr. Bhavna Mukund is a licensed Clinical Psychologist with degrees from the University of Delhi. Currently serving as Associate Prof. & Head of Department of Clinical Psychology at MAN College of Special Education and Psychological Studies in Guna, M.P. She has extensive experience in various roles including Associate Professor at CIMHANS, Clinical Psychologist for District Mental Health Programme, and Psychologist in the Indian Air Force. Her research focuses on Coping Cat-CBT for children with anxiety and developing Social and Emotional Learning curriculum. Additionally, she is an active blogger, poetess, and author with publications in national and international journals.
