Introduction
Master in Clinical Psychology (M.Clin.Psy.) is a two-year post-graduation course aimed at producing qualified professional clinical psychologists who can offer diagnostic, therapeutic, rehabilitative, and administrative services to promote mental and physical health. Mental health problems are on the rise, and this course equips students with the knowledge and methods from all substantive fields of biopsychosocial sciences to tackle these issues.
Entry Requirements :
Direct Entry
- M.A./M.Sc. Degree in Psychology from a University recognised by the UGC with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. SC/ST/OBC candidates: minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
- The candidate should have completed the Master’s Degree not more than five years prior to the date of application.
Lateral Entry
- M.Phil. Clinical Psychology degree from RCI-recognized centres with minimum 55% marks in aggregate.
- Should have completed the University Examination of Part I and Part II in the first attempt.

Objectives
Upon completing the course, person will have the competence to diagnose and conceptualize mental health issues within a psychological framework, provide relevant treatment, and conduct research in clinical psychology. They will also be prepared to undertake responsibilities in teaching, training, administration, and decision-making within mental health settings.
